Marinos Italian Restaurant

About Marino's Restaurant

Many immigrants came to the land of opportunity by way of Ellis Island in the early 1900s. Among them were Italian and Sicilian families from the old country looking for a better way of life. They were hard-working and industrious with strong family values.

Among these immigrants were two Sicilian families, my mother's family from Salistradi and my father's family from a small town of Comme di Camporeale.

Sicilians love their culture and would gather with family and friends for fun, music and good traditional Italian food. My parents have taught me the importance of their traditions and have passed them on to me to pass on to my family and friends.
